Choosing between climbing roses and rambling roses depends primarily on how much space you have and how long you want your garden to remain in bloom. While both require external support to grow vertically, they differ fundamentally in their growth habits, flowering cycles, and the scale of the structures they require. Climbing roses are generally more compact and repeat-flower throughout the summer and into autumn, making them ideal for smaller walls or arches.
